Biography

Jennifer Gyanggyang Terngu. (anipr)

 Jennifer Terngu Gyanggyang was born on 13th June,1974. She is married and a mother of four children. She is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) and Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ).  

Jennifer is a recipient of Staff of the year award in 2012 and 2013, in the Directorate of Information and Communication Technology (ICT).

Education
  • Jennifer has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in :
  • Mass Communication from the prestigious Benue State University Makurdi (2001)
  • Certificate of attendance from the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON)(2022)
  • Certificate of attendance from the Joseph Sarwuan Tarka University Makurdi (2026).
Experience

Jennifer Terngu Gyanggyang began her career in the State civil service in March,2005 as Information Officer II and has served as Information Officer in various ministries within the Benue State civil service. She rose to the position of Assistant Director Information.

  • Administrative Assistant at Nigeria Immigration Service Zone H Headquarters Makurdi during my National Youth Service Corps(NYSC).
  • Monitoring and Evaluation Officer HIV/AIDS Desk Ministry of Information.
  • Acting Director, Directorate of Information and Communication Technology (present).
  • A one time Chairman of Nigeria Union of Journalist(NUJ) Information Chapel. 
Responsibilities
  • Overseeing operations of the Directorate of ICT.
  • Managing the Ministry's digital infrastructure.
  • Managing public information dissemination through digital platforms.
  • Managing the ministry's website.
  • Overseeing the operations and application of e-governance in the Ministry.
