Biography

Comfort Ejima Ajunwa

Mrs. Comfort Ejima Ajunwa, born on 25th July 1968, is a seasoned public service communication professional with 24 years of experience in the Benue State Civil Service. She currently serves as the Director of Information and Head of the Department of Public Enlightenment and Orientation, Ministry of Information and Orientation, Benue State.

Education
  • B.A. Linguistics – University of Jos (UniJos)
  • Advanced Diploma in Public Management (ADPM) – Benue State University
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) – Bayero University, Kano
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) – Bayero University, Kano
Experience

Mrs. Ajunwa has 24 years of experience in public service, particularly in information management, public enlightenment, government communication and civic orientation. Her career has equipped her with extensive experience in coordinating information activities and supporting effective communication between government and citizens.

Responsibilities
  • As Director of Information and Head of the Department of Public Enlightenment and Orientation, she is responsible for:
  • Coordinating public enlightenment and civic orientation programmes.
  • Disseminating government policies, programmes and activities to the public.
  • Promoting effective communication and citizen engagement.
  • Strengthening communication between the government and the people of Benue State.
